A New Outlook

Suppose we were handed a red pen and an eraser and told we could rewrite reality. If the storyline wouldn’t look so nice, we could change that. Even if the outcome is what we deserve and what logically follows by our actions, it could still be edited out.

We were: Our confidence in God’s kindness. Trust in Him, believe it will be good, and He will make it so.

Is it fair? Is it justified?

Yes. Because if you can trust so strongly, you have already transformed yourself.

Open Wide

You can choose to conceive of God as one aloof from all things; one who leaves you in the hands of so many worldly troubles--because of what significance are these to Him?

Or you can believe in a God who carries you as a nursing mother cuddles her suckling infant, as the eagle carries its young above its wings, as a father lifts his child firmly upon his shoulders.

As large as you make your cup, so He will fill it for you. As much as you trust
